Thiago Beck Raices is a poet, actor, and science fiction enthusiast, an undergraduate student in Philosophy, a trained psychologist from UFC, and holds a Master’s degree in Psychosocial Care from UFRJ. He sees in the intersections of art and life glimpses of the questions—especially ethical ones—that the future always finds a way to confront us with. In his clinical practice, he also observes the ways new technologies cross into people’s lives and their impact on health; therefore, his research focuses on the repercussions of technological development in the fields of ethics and mental health. Beyond this, with words as his main instrument of work and the tool he explores across different fronts, he looks at the construction of Language Models and Artificial Intelligences with great interest and attention.
